Paul with Louise
AMD have hired a new member of staff in the downstairs office. Louise will fill the position left by George Carrick who will now only be working once a week and be focussed on purchasing. Louise will become familiar to our customers as she becomes the primary contact for information on the status of jobs and also pricing quotations. We are sure that our customers will build a strong relationship with Louise and hope that she will improve even further, the premium service that we offer.

As of 4.1.2010 Paul has become a director of the company. Paul plays a crucial role at AMD and has been justly rewarded for his continued commitment and dedication along with managing the delivery of a consistently excellent product. Although Paul will always be available for large queries on jobs and heavily involved with the factory, he will gradually be phased out as our customer’s first point of contact on all general enquiries as he takes on his directorial role. Congratulations Paul!

Steve has recently become a member of the Entrepreneurs Forum and has appeared for the first time in ‘eforum’ magazine. The article focuses on Steve’s creation of the business in 2001 and how amd was named after his daughter, Abby May Davis, who at the time was very ill. Steve says “I decided to give it a shot on my own and my daughter was my lucky mascot.
